How to End the Recession

Not too long ago if you worked hard and showed up every day, you could keep a job. Unfortunately, this trend is changing.

Last year and this year I worked at various jobs doing data entry and call center work. The majority of these positions were nothing more than glorified sweatshops. My last position ended because I did not meet the company's productivity standards. I was doing data entry and my speed improved considerably in the short time I was there. This was not good enough for the company. I received one verbal warning and did not get a chance to make further improvements because they fired me that day.

Jobs are scarce, therefore many companies pay low wages, and treat their employees badly. They will only do this is as long as we let them get away with it.

One major step to ending this recession is to start treating everyone as you would like to be treated, or treat them like you would treat a close friend or relative. If bosses would treat their employees well instead of caring about how much money their company makes, we would have happier workers and this world would be a better place. Right now we are not even close to this ideal.

Unemployment is at an all time high, therefore we have a lot less people paying taxes and a lot more people collecting benefits from the government than we did a few years ago. There's less money going in, and more money going out. Whenever an employer fires an employee without good cause, they are contributing to this economy being destroyed. Unfortunately, most people aren't conscious enough to look outside themselves and see how their actions will affect the entire world's well being.

If you are unemployed or unhappy at your job, stop complaining. Instead, take action so that you don't have to rely on these horrible companies as your primary or only source of income. Write for, Associated Content, or one of the other many websites that will pay you to write. Start a pet sitting service. Start a website or a blog and make money from ads, selling affiliate products, or selling your own stuff. There are many other ways besides these options to make money without having a regular job.

We need you to provide valuable information and products the world is desperately searching for. So take action to help yourself and countless other folks in the process. What are you waiting for?

How to Have Your Media Make An Impact on Millions

Do you want your stand up comedy, art, or music to be appreciated by thousands, possibly millions of people? A great way to accomplish this is by sending a powerful message.

Is there laws that you don't agree with? Do you want to expose injustices in the world? This alone should give you plenty of material to talk or write about. You can get your voice heard through your media. If enough people can relate to what you are saying, you will build a great following, and possibly get people to act on what you say!

If you compose music, consider sending a powerful message through it. Music is easily remembered, and you can actually help improve the world this way.

Here is a sample clip of my stand up comedy and one of my comic strips. What message am I sending?

Drug Commercials - More bloopers are a click away

Here is the Comedy Video of the Week - this was done by one of my all time favorite comedians George Carlin. His comedy is not only hilarious, he is also sending a powerful message. As entertainers we can learn a lot from him.
